A Professional Australia-Wide Independent survey of the Elanra registered medical devices

Self-report mailed surveys were sent to all recent purchasers of Elanra Therapeutic Air Ionisers throughout Australia, and 973 respondents completed and returned the survey. Men and women were almost equally represented. Almost half were aged between 50-70 years, 30% were under 50 and 23% were aged over 70. Respondents came from all over Australia, city, towns or regional centres and country and rural areas. More than one quarter had more than one medical device.

Respondents overwhelmingly consider their use of the medical device has positively affected their health, and the range of benefits reported upon was extremely diverse. Almost 90% (87%) recorded positive comments regarding their overall benefits of using the medical device, and 93% of respondents indicated they either had or will in future recommend the medical device to others. Older people in particular were more likely to record positive comments about their use of the medical device.

Each and every one of those respondents who recorded that they had experienced an improvement in their health stated that they either had and/or will in the future continue to recommend the medical device to others. Fascinatingly, even of those few who said they had had little or no improvement in their health as a result of using the medical device more than half (55.7%) said they had or will recommend the medical device to others.

Eighty five per cent of respondents stated they had experienced improvement in their health as a result of using the medical device – one quarter  stated they  had  gained 100% or Substantial Improvement. Many wrote of their full recoveries from health problems such as asthma, allergies or sinus and other respiratory illnesses.

The contribution of the medical device to cleaning the air of pollutants which respondents considered were harmful to their health, such as cigarette smoke, carbon monoxide fumes from nearby roads, dust from industrial areas, pollens and even crop spraying in rural areas were the issues most commented upon by respondents.

Consistent and continual use of the medical device demonstrably had most beneficial effects on people’s health. Respondents who use the medical device consistently report the highest level of health improvement, with almost 92% reporting improvement in their health which they attribute to their use of the medical device.

The overwhelming majority of respondents (94%) use the medical device in the Bedroom and 86% of those recorded a positive level of improvement in their health. Respondents who have the medical device in other areas all recorded a level of health improvement over 85%.

The contribution of the medical device to Better Sleep, overcoming sleep problems and snoring in particular were commented upon by  a majority of  respondents. Two thirds of respondents had specifically purchased the medical device to  help with sleep problems or to give them better sleep and 90% of those respondents reported they had indeed gained Better Sleep which they attributed to their use of the medical device.

Older people in particular reported that the medical device had helped their sleep problems, many commented on relief of snoring.

Respondents indicated the purposes or health conditions for which they had purchased the medical device and level of benefits which they attribute to their use of the medical device.
